Incubatoredu
INCubatoredu gives students the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship in a real way as they create their own product startup. Every class is assisted by a coach or mentor who will guide teams of students through the curriculum and support initiatives related to washable shoe insoles and social apps. Students have plenty of opportunities to experiment with ideas, while using lean business practices.
The students will be taught how to develop their thinking as they move through the program. This includes conducting market research, customer and idea research, prototyping, and pitches. This process fosters cooperation, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, and also teaches students how to quickly adapt to change.
Each team competes for funding at the INCubatoredu National Pitch, which is held annually. The event is known as a"shark-tank"-style competition which provides great opportunities for teams to network with investors.
Students and teachers are able to form strong bonds with INCubatoredu that will impact their lives, careers, and the wider community outside of their classrooms. Watch INCubatoredu alumni discuss its life-altering effects - both expected as well as unexpected!
